Compassionate Dog Training & Walking

Emily loves animals of all sizes, wild or tame. She grew up with cats, the native creatures of Vermont, and a pack of Labradors. As a child, she found small dogs confusing and insisted they were “woof-cats,” but their canine IQ has grown since then. Emily landed in The Bay in 2007 and started studying positive, motivational training techniques and canine behavior while volunteering with compassionate animal handlers in SF.

They spent over five years leading off-leash groups of dogs in the wild corners of San Francisco for Active Dog Adventure Club and three years leading group walks and puppy socialization sessions with Doggy Lama Pet Care in the East Bay.

In 2024 Emily became a proud graduate of the Dog Training Intern Academy at SF Puppy Prep, certified in R+ dog training. They now offer walks and training local to El Cerrtito where Emily lives with her spouse and their sassy black cat, Tabbouleh.
